Homeowners are more likely to support one of the two government parties in a future election.
A Red C opinion poll in today’s Business Post shows 42% of homeowners between the ages of 18 and 44 would give their 1st preference vote to Fianna Fáil or Fine Gael.
The poll shows support for Fianna Fáil has risen two percentage points to 17% since their last poll four weeks ago.
Fine Gael is unchanged on 18%.
Sinn Féin is down one point, but remains the most popular party with support at 23%.
