Ulster grant scheme supporting north west clubs

One hundred and fifty-two clubs from across the province have been awarded a total of €857,923 of funding through Ulster GAA’s 2025 Club Infrastructure Development Grant scheme.

The aim of the scheme is to assist clubs in the improvement and development of their physical infrastructure.

19 clubs in Donegal are to benefit from the scheme with €86,290 euro coming into the county from Ulster. 21 Tyrone clubs received €137,479 and 18 Derry clubs will get €67,856.

Of the three north west counties, the biggest injection went to Termon on Donegal with €31,000 and Greencastle in Tyrone will benefit to the tune of €25,108.

Ulster GAA Treasurer, Michael McArdle commented: “Our clubs perform exceptional work in providing physical developments for their members and communities, and Ulster GAA is pleased to acknowledge these efforts by supporting this high number of recipients.

The GAA takes pride in the ongoing redistribution of its income to grassroots initiatives across the province. Annually, 83 cents of every euro received is reinvested into clubs to assist in funding developments like infrastructure projects.

“The financial support offered through this program underscores the ambition and vision of the clubs within our nine counties to enhance facilities for future generations.”

The scheme is funded by both Central Council and Ulster GAA with over €3.4m distributed through this scheme over the last four years.
