Donegal have been beaten 0-21 to 0-14 by Wicklow Division 3 of the National Hurling League at O’Donnell Park this afternoon.
A win for Mickey McCann’s side would have seen them earn promotion to Division 2 and book a spot in the league final but it wasn’t to be.
Donegal will now face Roscommon in 2 weeks in their last league game.
