A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, following the death of a woman in Derry.
Officers attended a property in the city yesterday morning and located an injured woman at the scene.
The woman, named locally as Amy Doherty, was rushed to hospital, but died later from her injuries.
A forensic examination is underway at a house in the Summer Meadow Mews area.
She was rushed to Altnagelvin Hospital, but died later.
A security cordon has been placed around the house, and forensic officers are carrying out examinations inside.
