Issues surrounding the pier at Killult were raised at a recent meeting of Donegal County Council’s Island Committee.
The road to the pier is privately owned land which creates difficulty as it is the only access route particularly for emergency services.
Cllr Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig says it is not acceptable that Donegal County Council haven’t made an effort to bring the road into public ownership:
