Drivers in Donegal are paying less than the provincial average for car insurance, according to new figures from Chill.ie.
The average premium in the county now stands at €646, making Donegal the 14th least expensive county in Ireland for car insurance, up two places on last year’s rankings.
The figures also show that motorists in Donegal are paying €40 less than the average premium in Ulster of €686.
