Garda are investigating an alleged assault in the Lower Main Street area of Letterkenny in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A man is believed to have been assaulted by another man in the area at around 3am.
He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100. In particular, As always, gardai are anxious to see any dash-cam footage from the area at that time.
