An advocacy group says the government must deliver long-term and targeted supports for families on budget day.
CSO figures yesterday showed the cost of living increased by over 3 per cent in the year to the end of July, but fuel costs are still rising and there are fears food prices could soar because the hot, dry weather is impacting both crops and herds.
