Uisce Eireann says water supplies are beginning to recover in the North West, but no decision has been made on whether to extend the hosepipe ban.
The current ban was initially put in place across the South and East, but extended nationwide three weeks ago, due to exceptionally warm and dry weather, along with high water demand.
