Weakend Derry lose heavily to league leaders

Dundalk have moved 6 points clear at the top of the Airtricity League Premier Division.
After last Friday’s defeat to St Pats, the Lilywhites got their title campaign back on-track with a crushing 5-0 win over Derry City at Oriel Park.
Peter Hutton who was in the stands due to suspension fielded a weakend side with the cup quarter final against Drogheda this Friday in mind.
The Derry boss made seven changes from the side that beat Sligo in the derby last weekend.
Darren Meenan, Kurtis Byrne, Dane Massey, Pat Hoban and Brian Gartland were all on the score-sheet against Derry for the league leaders.
Meanwhile, Sligo Rovers were 3-2 winners over Bohemians at the Showgrounds.
