Several thousand euro worth of jewellery has been taken in a break in at a jewellers at Letterkenny Shopping Centre.
Thieves broke through a roof into an adjoining clothes shop, smashed through plasterboard and then cut a hole at the rear of a glass cabinet, taking diamond rings and necklaces. A full inventory check is continuing at the premises to determine exactly what was taken.
