Political donations from Donegals TD’s, Senators and MEPs disclosed

TDs, Senators and MEPs disclosed political donations of just under 400 thousand euro last year.
Of Donegal’s TDs, four disclosed donations. There were no donations disclosed by either of Donegal’s two senators, or by any of the three North West MEPs.
Only donations above 634 euro 87 cent need to be disclosed.
Of the three Donegal North East TDs, Fine Gael Deputy Joe Mc Hugh was the only one to receive no disclosable donations.
Fianna Fail Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue disclosed one donation of 650 euro from James Mc Daid of Lurgy, Letterkenny, which was given to cover postage costs.
Sinn Fein Deputy Pardaig Mac Lochlainn disclosed a cheque for 650 euro from a company in Dublin.
In Donegal South West, Fine Gael Deputy Dinny Mc Ginley was the only one of three to disclose no donations.
Sinn Fein Deputy Pearse Doherty declared one cheque for a thousand euro from a company in Donegal.
Independent Deputy Thomas Pringle declared two cheques for a thousand euro each, one from his sister in Dublin, the other from a friend in Donegal.
There were no donations disclosed by Senators Jimmy Harte of Labour and Brian O’Domhnaill of Fianna Fail. Neither were there any donations disclosed by the three North West MEPs , Pat Thje Cope Gallagher of Fianna Fail Independent Marian Harkin and Jim Higgins of Fine Gael.
