TD Thomas Pringle says the recent case of a Donegal man who has been denied treatment in St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin has highlighted the complete failure of the government’s health policy.
Last week Thomas Keaveney from Convoy, revealed on Highland Radio that his treatment for chronic pain will no longer be available to him at St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin.
Mr Keaveney, who is a cancer survivor, has been told that his treatment was no longer available from St Vincent’s due to cutbacks which mean it could no longer treat patients from outside its catchment area.
