Patrick McEleney is expected to miss tonight’s game as he recovers from a Shingles virus while Rob Mc Cormick is suspended.
The club go into the tie with news this morning that former Manchester United and Northern Ireland defender Pat McGibbon is thought to have applied for the manager’s position at the Brandywell.
McGibbon’s reported interest follows the news last week that another former Red Devil Andrei Kanshelskis had applied for a position which the club insists isn’t actually vacant.
The Lurgan mas who was involved with Newry City and Dungannon Swifts is also linked with the job at Glentoran.
