A special meeting of Donegal County Council takes place next week to set new by-laws to reduce speed limits in certain housing estates in the county.
Earlier this year there was a public consultation as part of a council consideration to introduce 30 km/h speed limits to appropriate estates.
Speaking ahead of that consulation the Chairperson of Donegal County Council Ciaran Brogan gave his support to reducing speed limits even further:
