With Dundalk already crowned champions ahead of tonight’s clash with Bray Wanderers at Oriel Park, the focus tonight is on the battle to avoid automatic relegation and who will finish in second place.
Cork City are on-course to finish as runners-up ahead of their trip to Dalymount Park to face Bohemians, but a defeat for the Leesiders would allow Shamrock Rovers to overtake them in second-place – if they can beat struggling Drogheda United at the Tallaght Stadium.
However, Drogheda have an added incentive to win tonight as they go into tonight’s matches in second-last place and two points above basement side Limerick FC.
Tonight’s other game in the top-flight is between Longford Town and Derry City at the City Calling Stadium.
Kick-off in all of tonight’s League of Ireland matches is at 19:45.
