Man appears in court over Letterkenny petrol station robbery

court-hammerA young man has appeared in court accused of involvement in a hold-up at petrol station in Letterkenny.
Dean Kelly made a brief appearance at Ballyshannon District Court today(Fri).
The 23-year-old, with an address at Glenwood Park, Letterkenny, was accused of robbing Niamh McLaughlin of a cash register with €1,150 in it at Glencar Filling station in Letterkenny on November 2.
He was also charged with stealing a €50 CD and LYNX after-shave worth €10 at Dunnes Stores, Oldtown Rd, Letterkenny, on November 3.
He was remanded by Judge Kevin Kilrane on bail to Letterkenny District Court next Monday on condition he stay out of Letterkenny, reside at his father’s address at Kilmacrennan, have no contact with any witnesses and observe an 8pm to 8 a.m. curfew.
