Colum Eastwood is the new SDLP leader

 

Foyle MLA Colum Eastwood has been elected leader of the SDLP.
At the age of 32, Mr Eastwood, is the party’s youngest MLA.
At the party’s annual conference in Armagh, he defeated incumbent Dr Alasdair McDonnell by 172 votes to 133.
South Belfast MLA Fearghal McKinney has been voted the party’s new deputy leader.
