Young man charged over drug related offences in Derry

 

 
Police in Derry have charged a 23 year old man with a number of drugs related offences.
 The charges relate to the search of a house in the Creggan area on Friday when the Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a proactive search and seized approximately £3,700 worth of suspected cannabis.
The 23 year old man was then arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court tomorrow and the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
