The Taoiseach says Ireland couldn’t possibly entertain a divide with Northern Ireland that’s similar to the US/Canada border.
British Prime Minister Theresa May said she’s been looking to the US for solutions in Northern Ireland.
Fine Gael’s EU Spokesperson Neale Richmond has described that as totally unworkable.
And Taoiseach Leo Varadkar also dismissed the suggestion:
