Number awaiting admission to LUH doubles

There were 22 people waiting to be admitted to Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the latest trolley watch report.
4 people were waiting on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 18 were waiting on wards.
The number has doubled on yesterdays figure of 11.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded with 68 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 522 waiting at hospitals across the country today.
