LUH second most overcrowded hospital in the country today

Letterkenny University Hospital was the second most overcrowded in the country this morning with the numbers awaiting admission up five on yesterday’s figure.
There were 33 people awaiting in-patient beds at the hospital this morning according to the INMO, nine of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
Nationally, there were 364 people awaiting beds, the highest number, 41, at University Hospital Limerick.
