Body found on Donegal beach confirmed to be missing Derry woman

 

Gardai have confirmed that the remains found on a beach in Clonmany are that of Jean McGahey.
The 72 year old from Derry had been missing since from the city since mid November and her car was later discovered at Lady’s Bay in Buncrana.
Her body was found by a member of the public on Leenan beach on Wednesday morning.
Gardai have thanked the public for their assistance.
