A woman has been attacked during an aggravated burglary overnight in Milford.
It’s believed the woman, the occupant of the house was wakened by the intruders who proceeded to punch her in the face.
Gardaí have confirmed that they attended the scene of an aggravated burglary at around 3am this morning in the Grey Rock area of Milford.
The woman aged in her 40s, received treatment for non-life threatening injuries at the scene.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
