Sleet and snow showers have been reported around the region this afternoon, but Met Eireann says there’s no sign of major snowfall this weekend.
Temperatures will dip and showers are likely, which could fall as sleet especially on higher ground.
Donegal County Council has confirmed gritters have been out on a number of routes since 4pm on Friday.
The Council is also urging caution on the R255/R251 Termon to Dunlewy road, due to hail showers conditions are very slippery
