Quigley goes the distance in Las Vegas to extend pro record to 9-0

Jason Quigley extended his professional record to 9-0 but for the first time stateside he was taken the distance.
The Donegal middleweight was the unanimous winner over four rounds against Marchristopher Atkins at the Hard Round Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas with the judges scoring it 40-36, 40-36 39-37
Quigley who was cut above the left eye in the third after the fighters clashed heads, had to work hard in a fight which proved that Atkins was a tougher opponent than he had met before.
Up until Friday night Jason had recorded all eight of his victories inside the distance.
The Ballybofey man said afterwards  “2016 will be a massive year for Team Quigley”.
