Sinn Fein says the trolley crisis in our hospitals will get worse in 2019.
The party’s health spokesperson Louise O’Reilly says a “radical change” in government health policy is needed to tackle the issue.
Yesterday, INMO figures showed the number of people awaiting in-patient beds was down to 366 from 656 on the same day last year. At Letterkenny University Hospital, there was also a year on year drop, figures fell from 35 last year to 26 yesterday.
Health Minister Simon Harris called the drop “significant”, but Deputy O’Reilly says those figures only mask the real picture………….
