A Letterkenny based councillor says CCTV may have to be considered as a deterrent after another life belt was removed from the pedestrian bridge over the Swilly at Oldtown.
It comes just weeks after a similar incident, which was widely condemned.
Cllr Gerry Mc Monagle says on that occasion, members of the 3 Rivers Search and Rescue Team went in to the river to retrieve it.
He says this cannot be allowed to happen again……..
