An investigation is ongoing at the site of Cassidy Bros quarry in Buncrana.
Donegal County Council has confirmed that there is an open and ongoing investigation at the site.
The local authority told yesterday’s meeting of the Inishowen Municipal District in response to a question raised by Councillor Terry Crossan regarding planning compliance, that they currently have a live enforcement case open in relation to the quarry.
