A Glenties councillor has rowed in behinds calls for vacant holiday homes to be used to house homeless people in Donegal.
Cllr Michael Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says that he called for an emergency meeting with council and officials to address the matter.
Cllr Mac Giolla Easbuig says that in areas like West Donegal, many houses lay empty as they were purchased as holiday homes – and that many are only occupied for a few weeks in the year.
