Roads are expected to be busier then usual this evening, as thousands get away for the St. Patrick’s Bank Holiday weekend.
Gardai are appealing to motorists to drive with extra care and to allow plenty of time for their journey.
Last year, six people died over the St Patrick’s bank holiday period.
