Those who have limited mobility will now be able to enjoy the Tip O’Neill Trail in Inishowen.
It comes with the news of the implementation of two of two all-terrain wheelchairs and improvement works along the trail.
The specially designed hippocampe wheelchairs will enable users to engage in outdoor activities including going to the beach.
They are located at the Buncrana Anglers Association Angling Centre and Sliabh Sneacht Centre. It is recommended to book in advance.
The project was undertaken by Donegal County Council and the Local Community Development Committee under the ‘The Sláintecare Healthy Communities Programme in Inishowen’.
