There is a total of 8,279 new arrivals from Ukraine living in Donegal.
It’s according to the latest set of data from the Central Statistics office.
There are 2,007 Ukrainians in the Donegal electoral areas who have been issued a PPS number, accounting for 7% of the population.
While 6% of the populations of Glenties and Carndonagh electoral areas are comprised of new arrivals from Ukraine, at 1,520 and 1,027 respectively.
Milford and Letterkenny have recorded 781 and 1,616 Ukrainians, representing 5% of the population in both areas.
There are 582 Ukrainian people living in the Buncrana Electoral area, which is 3% of the population there.
Finally, 2% of the Lifford- Stranorlar population is Ukrainian, totaling 746 people.
