Long called for safety improvement works are set to be carried out on Mill Bridge in Buncrana.
There have been many near misses on the busy route. In one instance, a pram was hit by the wing mirror of a passing car.
As a temporary solution it’s been proposed a give way system be implemented on the bridge.
Councillor Fionán Bradley while welcoming the works, says he will continue to lobby for a permanent resolution:
