The Taoiseach says every local council has to play its part when it comes to climate change.
Under new rules, local authorities could soon be forced to allow wind farms and solar parks in their areas.
Each region will have to host a certain quota of renewable energy projects.
Micheal Martin says it has to be done so Ireland meets its climate obligations……….
