Donegal County Council is being urged to address the ‘unacceptable condition’ of public toilets on Buncrana shore front.
Councillor Joy Beard says she was contacted by a regular visitor to the town who expressed their disappointment at the state of the facilities, with reports of broken locks, rusty handwash dispensers, and an unpleasant smell.
Plans are in place to revitalise Buncrana shore front as part of the Repowering Buncrana Project however, Councillor Beard says the existing issues need to be addressed as the summer season approaches.
