A 31-year-old man was apprehended yesterday evening in relation to an outstanding bench warrant in the Strand Road area.
The arrest was made shortly after 7 pm, and subsequently, a quantity of suspected controlled drugs was found in the man’s possession.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of a number of drug-related offenses and remains in police custody at this time.
