A North Inishowen councillor says there needs to be a review of Uisce Eireann’s maintenance policies in light of a boil notice issued yesterday in Culdaff.
Cllr Martin Farren believes there’s been an increase in the number of boil water notices issued recently, and that may be linked to what he believes to be a practice of not replacing staff when they retire, and instead increase the responsibilities of those who remain.
The separation of Uisce Eireann and councils will be complete by the end of this year, and Cllr Farren believes the situation is worsening………..
