There was a significant number of North West businesses participating in upskilling last year.
Figures from Skillnet Ireland show that over 5,800 people and 1,300 businesses in Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo participated in upskilling with a Skillnet Ireland Business Network in 2024.
Over 39,600 training days in the region were recorded.
59% of those who undertook training were men and 41% were women, while those aged 30 to 39 availed of upskilling supports more than any other age group.
