There’s renewed calls for additional litter wardens and greater enforcement of fines for dog fouling in Donegal.

Vision Ireland figures published this week show that zero fines for dog fouling were issued by Donegal County Council last year.

Councillor John Sheamais O’Ferraigh says the figures clearly show more staff are needed to crack down on the issue.

He says other areas are better equipped at dealing with dog fouling:
