154 new Gardaí from 14 nations became sworn members of the force today.
The southern region will get 66 new Gardaí, 45 have been allocated to the Dublin region, 22 will be stationed in the Eastern region, and the North Western Region will get 21.
A further 369 recruits are currently in training, and the next 200 trainees will enter the Garda College in Templemore on Monday.
