17 beaches out of 33 across the country have been rated ‘clean’ this summer.
The cleanest beaches are Brittas Bay, Curracloe, Bundoran, Killiney, Strandhill and Tramore.
Killybegs was also rated clean, with inspectors praising the recycle facility and colourful planter boxes.
