An investigation has been launched surrounding an incident that is the subject of a video doing the rounds on social media.
It happened just after 5 o’clock on Wednesday evening last.
In the footage, three individuals can be seen exiting a vehicle and walking towards another parked vehicle on Lower Main Street in Letterkenny in broad daylight, where they begin to bang on the windows.
The driver of this vehicle then temporarily mounted and drove on the footpath, during which they collided with a stationary vehicle.
Gardaí are calling it a public order incident and say no injuries were reported.
A technical examination has since been conducted by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.
Investigations remain ongoing.
