There were 24 admitted patients awaiting beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, 10 of them on Emergency Department trolleys, the third highest figure in the country, after Limerick with 107 and Galway with 59.
Latest INMO figures show there were 23 admitted patients awaiting beds in Sligo, giving a North West total of 47.
