Gardaí are again warning the public of scammers purporting to be members of their organisation.
The latest fraud comes in the form of a text, telling the receiver they must pay for a Fixed Charge Notice via a link enclosed in the text.
Garda Grainne Doherty told today’s Nine ‘Til Noon show that the message is not from the Gardaí and gave the following advice:
