The biggest fish ever caught in Ireland has been landed off the coast of Donegal.
Aoife McGettigan caught a bluefin tuna, weighing a massive 344 kilograms, which she battled with for more than an hour to bring it alongside the boat and have it measured, according to the Irish Mirror.
She was on a visit home in Killybegs from Australia and went out with Killybegs Fishing Trips – her brother Declan was skipper of the boat.
