The European Anti-Poverty Network Ireland is holding a public forum in Letterkenny Library on Monday from 2pm.
The event, supported by the Department of Social Protection, is part of a series of events for the UN Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
The forum hopes to hear from local people about how poverty impacts them.
