Letterkenny University Hospital is the third most overcrowded hospital in the country.
According to the INMO Trolley Watch, 38 people were waiting on a bed this morning.
29 people were on trolleys in the Emergency Department, with the remaining 9 waiting on a ward elsewhere in the hospital.
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland, with 54 on trolleys, followed by Cork University Hospital with 47.
