Funds climb towards €10,000 for Errigal Mountain defibrillator after tragic death

Over €7,000 has been raised to date to see the installation of a defibrillator on Errigal Mountain.

It’s after Carl Henderson died following a medical event while on a hike earlier this year.

It took almost an hour for a land ambulance to reach him, with the nearest piece of life saving equipment approximately the same distance away.

A sponsored walk is taking place on Sunday morning in his memory in a bid to raise €10,000 for the cause.
