Foyle Port sees 46% increase in cruise ship calls

Foyle Port has seen a 46% increase in cruise ship calls in the last year.

Depending on ship size and tidal conditions, vessels were welcomed either at the tender port in Greencastle or the commercial port at Lisahally.

They welcomed 19 cruise ships, which saw 6,930 passengers and crew visit the North West.

Of the 3,940 passengers, nearly half were from the United States, while the rest hailed from Germany, the UK, France and Canada.
